EMPRESS
AT
YOUR
SERVICE
HE EMPRESS OF ENGLAND,
sister ship of the Empress of Britain, was built expressly
for North Atlantic service. It has superb deck
comfort; a glass-enclosed Promenade Deck; an inviting
Sun Deck, entirely clear of ventilation intakes
which stem-to-stern air conditioning has made unnecessary.
Room for room, deck for deck, speed for speed,
splendour for splendour—in every respect the
beautiful Empress of England matches her sister ship;
the white hull, raked stem, and streamlined bridge and
funnel. Also, the arrangement of the after-decks in
echelon, which emphasises the streamlining and adds
unusually generous open and covered deck-space.
Furthermore, The Empress of England has modern
stabilizers to iron out any bumps in the Atlantic.
Everything in the Empress of England from those
stabilizers to your deckchair, has been planned for you
—to make this ship the most pleasant way you can
imagine of crossing the Atlantic. /^
