Wood-block printing, on double leaves, East Asian binding.
Edition: [Ke ben]; 刻本，線裝。
內封葉題“江陵張文忠公譔，帝鑑圖說，闕說已補，純忠堂藏板”。案全書分兩部分，可視為兩卷。前卷有萬曆癸酉(元年，1573)陸樹聲敘，“聖哲芳規”兩葉四個大字，目錄，隆慶六年十二月(1573)張居正、呂調陽進圖疏及皇帝御旨。後卷有萬曆元年王希烈序，“狂愚覆轍”兩葉四個大字，目錄。前卷序及目錄版心下葉碼前鐫有“前”字，後卷版心下葉碼前均鐫有“後”字。卷端不題書名及著者名，據張居正疏及其他序文著錄題名及著者名。張居正疏云，命講官馬自強等輯錄歷代君王之“善可為法”者八十一事，“惡可為戒”者三十六事，各繪一圖，並附解說文字，分為二冊。此本未題刻印年代，但題純忠堂藏板，卷中避乾隆諱，當為清中期刻本。善本總目著錄有嘉慶二十四年張亦縉純忠堂刻本，六卷本，與此不同。
框19.8 x 14公分，9行19字，白口，四周雙邊，單黑魚尾，版心下鐫葉碼，部分葉碼前分別冠有“前”或“後”字。
姚鈞石印：“姚鈞石藏書”朱文長方印，“民國庚辰”朱文方印，“蒲坂書樓”白文長方印。
