[Sam Wah Laundry Bill] Lee, Ngoon; Lee, Chuck

Description

The bill lists prices for services at the Sam Wah Laundry. The laundromat was owned by Ngoon Lee (Chuck Lee’s father). Ngoon Lee arrived in Halifax in 1906, and opened the Sam Wah Laundry on Bliss Street. The building was originally a boat shed. On the back of the flyer is a handwritten note listing city names in English and Chinese.; 一張 Sam Wah 洗衣店收費單, 上面列出各種服務的收費價格。洗衣店的店主為李修策的父親 Ngoon Lee。Ngoon Lee 在1906年來到哈利法克斯市, 並在極樂街上開了 Sam Wah 洗衣店。 店鋪由一個船棚改建而成。訂單背後留有以中英文書寫的地方名稱。
