[Sam Wah Laundry Bill] Lee, Ngoon; Lee, Chuck
Description
The bill lists prices for services at the Sam Wah Laundry. The laundromat was owned by Ngoon Lee, Chuck Lee’s father. Ngoon Lee arrived in Halifax in 1906 and opened the Sam Wah Laundry on Bliss Street. The building was originally a boat shed. On the back of the flyer is a handwritten note on discussing what Japan needs for a system of peace, Western imperialism, and exploitation of natural resources.; 一張 Sam Wah 洗衣店的收費單, 上面列出各種服務的收費價格。 洗衣店的店主為李修策的父親 Ngoon Lee。Ngoon Lee 在1906年來到哈利法克斯市, 並在極樂街上開了 Sam Wah 洗衣店。店鋪由一個船棚改建而成。收費單背後書寫了一段有關日本政治和天然資源濫用的信息。
