Ludger Gravel (1864-1933) was a prominent Montreal businessman in oil distribution and automobile parts. He began his own printing firm, Imprimerie Ludger Gravel, in 1904. He was also known to the public as a generous philanthropist and zealous collector. He was a decorated citizen, having received medals from the governments of China and France.
