Description
A decorative border is printed in green ink. Inside at the top left is the Goodwin's script logo "G" on a maple leaf printed in green ink. Text is printed in black ink and three fonts, including the Goodwin's Limited logo script. There is a tear in the bottom right corner and a light "X" drawn across the plate in pencil.

Goodwin's Limited was a department store founded in Montreal in 1911 on the fashionable shopping street St. Catherine. The store was named after the new managing director, W. H. Goodwin. Goodwin's touted high-end fashion, as well as other department store goods including books. T. Eaton Company took over the store in 1925.
