Notes
St. Catherine Street Baptist Church was founded in 1869 from a mission established by the First Baptist Church and was formally incorporated in 1875. Due to debt and other financial troubles in both churches, in 1878 St. Catherine Street Baptist Church merged back into First Baptist Church, under the name of the latter. The original St. Catherine Street Church building was sold in 1906.
