Notes |
John Charles Alison Heriot, born in 1861 and died in 1928, was an architect in Montreal who also served as a militia captain. Heriot had a strong interest in his family history and heraldry, having published an article and a pamphlet on family members, and at one point he was the secretary of the heraldic committee of the Antiquarian and Numismatic Society of Montreal. The John Charles Alison Heriot fonds are located at the McCord Museum of Canadian History in Montreal.
