In light gray ink. A banner with the name of the owner and a small, circular, profile portrait are displayed on a background of vines. The stylized flora seems inspired by the late Nineteenth-century work of William Morris and others.

Notes	Frank Louis Flight was likely a colleague of the Canadian painter Edmond Dyonnet (1859-1954) who lived most of his life in Montreal. Doynnet's personal papers were donated to the University of Ottawa, among which was correspondence with Frank Flight. Additionally, Doynett published Memoirs of a Canadian Artist in 1951 which was translated from French with the assistance of Frank L. Flight. The Phillippe Masson Ex Libris Collection at McGill University contains the same bookplate, although their copy appears to have been printed using much darker ink with a greenish hue.
