Susie Maria Massey (nee Denton) married Walter Edward Hart Massey in Lowell, MA on the 11th of July 1888 ; together they had one son and three daughters. The Massey family made a fortune in farm equipment manufacturing and its members were active patrons of the arts, particularly music, in Toronto ; they created the Massey Foundation, built Toronto's Massey Music Hall, and constructed and endowed the University of Toronto's Massey College. Susie Massey died October 28th, 1901 at their family home, Dentonia Park Farm, in Ontario.
