Notes |
The Canadian School of Missions is now known as the Canadian Churches Forum for Global Ministries, but was originally conceived in the early 1900s, after the Edinburgh Misssionary Conference of 1910. Officially opening in 1921, the Canadian School of Missions grew from representatives and colleges from protestant boards and the University of Toronto. The school was established to train members for missionary work and grew to consist of many different programs, which centered course based education as well as lectures and activities. Artist's mark visible at base.
