Notes |
This stamp was originally placed on the inside cover of a book entitled, 'The Hidden Places' by Bertrand W. Sinclair. 'The Hidden Places' was published in 1922 by the Ryerson Press, and is set in Vancouver, BC. The story involves a disfigured man named Robin Hollister, back from the war, who meets a blind woman, Doris Cleveland. It is likely that this book was once part of a library held by the Felix Confectionery store. The store is no longer extant. It is unclear who B. J. Nelson was. 'The Hidden Places' can be found in the UBC Library Catalogue.
