Maija Calite is from Latvia. Rihards Skrubis is a commercial artist from Lativa. A small published booklet of this artist's bookplate work (including Calite's) accompanies the bookplate. Handwritten note accompanies the bookplate. The text written on the bookplate begins at the top right of the bookplate. At the far right, bottom corner of the book plate is the Greek symbol theta followed by the numbers, 160. The zero is partly drawn over with black pen erasing it in part.
