Columbia passed at the third and fourth sessions of the thirty-first Parliament and at
the first session of the thirty-second Parliament of British Columbia.

Whereas the Minister of Justice reports that with the assistance of the legal
officers of his Department he has examined the statutes of the Province of British
Columbia passed during the Third and Fourth Sessions of the Thirty-first Parliament and the First Session of the Thirty-second Parliament of the Legislative
Assembly of the Province of British Columbia and received by the Secretary of
State of Canada on the fifth day of February, 1980, and is of the opinion that these
statutes may be left to such operation as they may have.
Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, directs hereby that a copy hereof be transmitted to the Lieutenant Governor of the Province of British Columbia for the information of his Government.
