May it please Your Honour:
In accordance with the provisions of the Statute in that behalf, I have the honour to
submit the Thirty-second Annual Report of the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages in
this Province, the period covered being the year ended 31st December, 1904.
I might remark that the Act does not apply to persons who are Indians, within the
meaning of the Act of the Dominion Parliament respecting Indians, and that this Report does
not include such persons.
The returns show the registration of 2,139 Births, 1,734 Deaths, and 1,252 Marriages for
the year 1904, against 2,093 Births, 1,572 Deaths, and 1,160 Marriages for the year 1903.
