RETURN
To an Order of the House for a Return showing—
1. What security was deposited by the Arrowhead & Kootenay Railway Company,
under section 30 of their Charter, with the Minister of Finance, and date of
deposit.
2. Was said security returned to said Company ?    If so, when and why ?
3. Copies of any documentary evidence produced to the Minister of Finance,
showing that said Company had done $10,000 worth of work in surveys or
construction on or before 30th June, 1899.

ANSWERS.
1. Five thousand dollars cash, October 7th, 1898.
2. Security returned to the Company August 30th, 1899, satisfactory assurance having
been given that the Company had complied with the provisions of the Act.
3. Statement of Expenditure according to Paid Vouchers recorded in General
Superintendent's Office, Vancouver, on account of Arrowhead & Kootenay
Railway.

& Kootenay Railway Co. on surveys and construction to June 30th, 1899, as evidenced by
vouchers examined by me.
