In accordance with the provisions of the Statute in that behalf, I have the honour to
submit the Twenty-seventh Annual Report of the Registration of Births, Deaths, and
Marriages in this Province, the period covered being the year ended 31st December, 1.899.
The returns show the registration of 1,755 Births, 1,415 Deaths, and 872 Marriages for
the year 1899, against 2,038 Births, 1,340 Deaths, and 965 Marriages for the year 1898.
