 54 Vict. Correspondence—"Reformatory Act, 1890." 401
RETURN
To an Address presented to His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor, requesting
him to cause to be placed before the House copies of all Orders in Council or other
documents relating to the application or appointment of any officers or servants
under the " Reformatory Act, 1890 ;" also copies of all rules and regulations and
warrants made or repealed under the authority of the above Statute.

Copy of a  Report  of a Committee  of the Honourable the Executive  Council,  approved by
His Honour the Lieutenant-Governor on the 27th day of May, 1890.
On a memorandum from the Honourable the Attorney-General, dated the 15th day of
May, 1890, recommending that John Finlayson, of the City of Victoria, be appointed
Superintendent of the Juvenile Reformatory, Victoria, at a salary of $90 a month, as provided
in the estimates for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st of July next.

Victoria, 16th June, 1890.
Sir,—I have the honour to inform you that you have been appointed, as from the 1st
day of July next, Superintendent of the Juvenile Reformatory, Victoria, at a salary of ninety
dollars a month, as provided in the Estimates, and to request that you will report yourself,
before the first proximo at the office of the Honourable the Attorney-General for instructions
with regard to your duties.
