under the provisions of the " Registration of Births, Deaths, and Marriages Act, 1872."

May it please Your Honour :
In accordance with the provisions of the Statute in that behalf, I have the honour to
submit the Fifteenth Annual Report on the Registration of Births, Deaths, and Marriages in
this Province, the period covered being the year ended 31st December, 1887.
The returns show the registration of 362 Births, 439 Deaths, and 262 Marriages for the
year 1887, against 335 Births, 307 Deaths, and 212 Marriages for the year 1886, being an
increase of 27 Births, 132 Deaths, and 50 Marriages; and making together a total increase of
209 Registrations for the year 1887.
