Sir:
I have the honour to submit the Prisons Report for the year ending 31st October, 1887.
I respectfully trust that the Government  will  take into consideration my Report of last
year concerning the quarters of the Guards in the Victoria Gaol.
The   discipline and  condition of the chief prisons in the Province   have  been excellent
during the year.
