Fort Steele mining  men have organized, a company  to be known as the Kootenay  Placer.Mining Company. The  object of the company is to work  a large, area?,-of placer ground  situated above the falls on Perry  creek.  A lease has been secured from  the .government for some four or  five miles of placer ground on  Perry creek which prospects  well in'gold.
