The Fording Rivor coal areas,  north of block 4598 will be opened up and developed next spring  The coal seams on this property  have a total thickness of 110  feet.  Tht demand is so great for  coal in British Columbia, in the  Territories and the United  States, that the mines of the  Crow's Nesl will not bo able to  fully supply the demand for the  next five years.
