Taylor:     Resolved, that this executive of the  Provincial   Mining   Association  of  British   Columbia urge  such  government as may be in   power  after   the    pending    provincial  elections,   to   formulate without  'delay,   a  policy for the opening  up and development, of  all   coal  lands, and further resolved, that  this   executive    suggests   that,  with   respect-  to- coal    lands   in  Southeast Kootenay. A dam will be consti-ucfed at  the upper.canyon, and the'entire  flow of water converted into the  Hume.  -The company have secured  five miles, of placer ground on  Bull river, .and when fhe river  is turned v into the flume, the  river bed will be worked by  modern hydraulic mining ma-  c-hinery.  The new company besides using the wafer for placer mining,  will install a large electric  power plant, find will distribute  light, and power for the district.  They .have also commenced  lhe construction of a wagon road  from Chickamon 8tone road to  tho falls.
