Lacoursle-e,  of Victoria, to orect a three-storey frame  and rough-cast hotel building at Brentwood Bay, Saanich Inlet, to cost $76,000.  The plans call for a forty-roofti hotel,  with hot and cold water and a large proportion of them with private baths, a  large lounge hall, dining room and'several private dining rooms, a buffet and a  'billiard room. The building will be  heat d by steam and electric-lighted and  equipped in all modern furniture. The  building will be of solid post and beam  construction, with frame walls and partitions, the exterior being of rough-cast  finish. The hotel will be finished by  January 1, and immediately work will be  begun on the finest natatorium in the  Northwest. The tank -will be 150 feet  long and will be fed with warm salt  water. The question will be decided at  Monday night's council meeting. The  work which will most likely be undertaken includes: Paving of South' Cambie  Street, from Bridge to Broadway; paving track allowance on Hastings Street  East; paving Main Street from Eighteenth to Twenty-fifth Avenue (if South  Vancouver will agree to pave from Sixteenth to Eighteenth avenues on the east  side of the street; paving track allowance on Hastings Street, from Victoria  Drive to Renfrew Stre t; paving Heather  Street, from Broadway to Twelfth Avenue, from Vine to Alma streets, and  paving Water Street, from Cambie to  Can-all streets.
