The board  will instal fuel oil for heating in this  school, and'awarded the contract to  Hayward & &Dodds for this service.  In awarding a contract for new  desks to Kirkpatrick & Pengelly, at $4  each, the board supported the principle of giving work to Canadian firms.  There were lower bids submitted, but  they came from United States, manufacturers with local agencies.
