Armstrong,  Morrison Company anticipate its completion in March. No. 1 pier is completed; No. 2 is down and sealed'; No.  3 caisson is being sunk expeditiously  and is pretty close to the bottom;  No. 4 caisson is being sunk; No, 5  caisson is finished and ready for  launching and sinking. All the piles  of the approaches on both sides of  the bridge are in and capped. The "bldg . was owned by  Arbuthnot Bros., and the loss is estimated at about $8,000. The cause of  the fire is unknown and it is not expected that the owners will rebuild in  the near future at least.  Fort George���������A bunday fire recently totally destroyed the Dominion  Hotel, corner Fourth and Dominion  sts. When first discovered the fire  had made such headway that to attempt to save.the building or contents  was' out of the question. Financial  loss is estimated at $6,000.  Wharf, Pitt Lake���������The Dominion  Government are building a wharf and  bridge at the-top of Pitt .Lake, to  connect with the road which the provincial government is. constructing to  open up the upper Pitt valley: The  piling of bridge and. wharf is finished  and the superstructure is being proceeded with. Sanderson & Porter, of New York, financiers and builders of hydro electric  plants recently, made a proposal to  the city of Edmonton to furnish the  city with electric power. The proprosed  plant would be erected at Moose River,  B. C., in the Yellowstone Pass of the  Rockies. Its minimum capacity would  be 300.000.000 K.W.H. transmitted by  cable   to   Edmonton.
