Tho  Cumberland bund will discourse  choice selections of music during  thu day.  .Development League,  ���������-������������������������������  A well attended meeting of the  Development League was hold  on Monday evening, at which  some eight or nine new members  merchants and others, joined.  The minutes having been read,,  two com mi tti.es' were received  dealing with tlie extension of  the K. & N. Railway from Alber  ni to Campbell River requesting  central executive to find out if  the line would be buill as per  the laud subsidy granted, and in  the event of it uot being carried  ilirouh, that any further exten  sion of the charter be strenuously opposed, it having beeu already several limes renewed.
