Something unique in the way  of a musical comedy was given on  tlio evening of the 7t!Ji mst by a  party of young people from Comox as.-dsted by soni" of our best loc  al talent. The acting and singing  of the principals and chorus was*  indeed excellent, reflecting grent  credit upon those responsible for  the performance.  Space will not permit, us to tell  all about the artistic work of all  the performers but in passing our  appi eolation compels to remark  that Miss M. Macdonald as leading  lady sang in most excellent voice  mid performed ber part to perfection. The duet by Mian 13. Macdonald aud Miss Hall was delight  ful. They were assisted by Mrs.  'Manners as accompanist who isre-  cognized. as a most accomplished  artist in, that* capacity. *,, ������������������  Mr. R, Rons Napier has an ex  cedent voice and he tings with the  eiitliiisiasm.of youth, and with absorbed interest in bis work.
