J. F. BOUSKILL Hauling Contractor Vancouver, B. C, July P2th, 19 IS. H. J. TUCKER, Esq., Mritish Columbia Distributor, Federal Trucks, VANCOUVER, B. C. Dear Sir:— In reply to your inquiry I dependability and haulinK power him boon on strenuous duty for haulint: 3-tou loads of coal for three years steady, 2-ton loads of gravel for two yearn steady. During the year 1916, I drove my Federal "from Portland to Detroict, and from Detroit back to Vancouver, coverlnR the cross continent trip twice without serious trouble. Throughout the journey I climbed Rrades rangltiK up to 37VJ per cent., and carried a lijjht load both ways. No other truck, as far as I know, has ever made this trip. i">urln{r the pant six months my truck has been hauling 2-ton loada of wood, and Is performing Rood service at present. Yours very truly, fSliyned) JOHN P. BOUSKILL. take pleasure of my sturdy six years. My to the which in testifying 1-ton Federal. truck was used for and for hauling Heavy aaty Tractor* and Trailers for —-umber aad Mining- Industrie*. If Your Average Load Is Less Than a Ton THIS REO "SPEED WAGON" will serve the purpose better than a heavier truck. FOLK USED TO THINK that the right thing to do was to buy a truck big enough to carry the heaviest load they had to deliver. BUT EXPERIENCE has proven that the lighter truck, mounted on pneumatic tires, is theamore economical. EVEN IF YOU HAVE enough going to the same place to require two trips of this %-ton Rep, you'll find you can deliver the lot in less time than by one load on a big solid tired truck. MOST TIMES, however, there are smaller loads to be delivered to separate points. IN THAT CASE there is simply no comparison —The speedy %-ton Reo is the only way. IN SELECTING a truck for your own particular service, figure out what is the average load , and buy for that rather than for your heaviest loads. The latter are few in most lines of business. DON'T OVERLOOK the fact that half the dis-, tance is made with the truck empty—in a great majority of cases—and the wear and tear on a %-ton truck is about one-fourth what it is on one of twice that capacity. ESPECIALLY is that true if the other be mounted on solid tires. FULLY 80 PER CENT.^of .all hauling, both in the country and in the city, is better done- quicker, and cheaper—by - this 3/i-ton • Reo "Hurry-Up Wagon." DEMAND is tremendous. Never have been able to supply all who wanted Reos. And demand for this particular type of truck is increasing by leaps and bounds as users discover its great range of adaptability. IN A THOUSAND lines of business this Reo is proving itself the ideal type. It will do so in yoifrs. BUT YOUR ORDER must be in our hands soon if you desire a delivery in the near future. TARDY BUYERS will surely have to wait or accept a second choice, for only those who decide now and order at once can hope to obtain Reos. t TODAY won't be a minute too soon. Description | The British Columbia Record was published in Vancouver, and ran from June 1916 to July 1922. The Record was published every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
