VICTORIA — Property owners in  the Rock Bay district on Monday  made another attempt to induce the  City Council to take some action towards the reconstruction of the  bridge. Six of them, under Mr. Chas.  Wilson, appeared before the streets  committee of the Council and asked  the aldermen to reconsider their decision of last Monday night when the  bill by which the Legislature would |  give the city the power to enter into  an agreement for the reconstruction  of the bridge was turned down  Nothing definite was decided on  Monday, but the aldermen asked  City Solicitor Hannington to submit  on Monday night a complete interpretation of the bill and the by-laws  which govern the city in dealing with  the matter.
