For strength, durability, and general
service, "Gibraltar. Red-Special" is
matchless. In the biggest saw-mills,
biggest pulp and paper mills, biggest
manufacturing plants, one "driving
force" is nearly, always in evidence—
Dunlop "Gibraltar" Belting.
, For Drives,- Rotaries, Edgers, Lath

Transmission work, there is nothing
better than Dunlop "Gibraltar Red-

Did jtou ever notice that 95 per
cent, of the hi**; s«ccessful ilrms fire
firms who advertise? They figure advertising as an investment, not an expense. The secret of advertising is
the selection of a medium whicl
reaches those people who are or wil
he the most likely "purchasers 0
vour product." If you'are in the build

lect a moving picture publication ii
which to do your advertising. Because of the fact that the KWUORD is
'.ho only paper published in the province devoted exclusively to the contracting business it is road by., practically every one you would like to
sell your products to. Your ad. where
they will see it will put a capital C

Since this change - is one of preference, there seems to be no reason why much of the present trade can not be considered permanent. ' Japanese competition in some lines is commencing to be a factor. There is still some complaint as to American packing of prepared foods of all kinds, the fault arising from the inability or umvillingness of American manufacturers to urider- istand the destructive nature of the South China climate.
