Marvin McDaniel says he will be shipping ore in a week or two from the Mountain Chief at llenata to the smelter-at Trail. Emerald, of Salmo, is on the local ore receipt list once more. This rich property, which has been quietly paying'dividends for some time past, has sent, 485 tons to Trail in 1978. ' In the Alberni Canal region, Samuel Ryder, of St. Albans, England, has just installed new bunkers and a compressor plant at the old Monitor mine, which -sold three years ago for taxes. A big body or ore is blocked out there it is claimed. Ore shipments to the Trail smelter for the week ending July 6. were 4939 tops as compared with 6510 tons for the previous week. Among now shij> pers were Couverapee at Field; Keco at Sandon and the Silver Standard at Xew Hazelton. " - jVVork on the construction'" of the bunkers for the Dumphy Mining Co. is progressing rapidly and the massive structure, will soon be sheeted oyer. An 800-foot double track tramway has been constructed from the. mines, to the bunkers, and the plant presents a busy appearance. THIS %-TON REO "Speed Wagon" is the result of Eeo> manufacturing facilities—Reo efficiency—Reo experience—so the price is , 25 per cent, less than that of other trucks THIS %-TON REO has proved to be lower in upkeep than any other truck of same capacity—regardless of price. of similar quality. NO—WE DIDN'T SAY the same quality— xve said similar. FOR WE DON'T ADMIT that any other truck of same rated capacity is quite as good as this Reo. WE KNOW OF NONE that will carry the same loads over {he same routes day after day; or the same overloads when occasion demands; and stand up under the strain as this Reo does. AND THAT BRINGS US bade to the fact that this Reo "Hurry Up Wagon" is also Reo designed. 'REO'.ENGINEERING- is' sound engineering; the oldest, therefore the ripest, in the industry. NOW, OBVIOUSLY a truck that costs 25% to 100% more in the first place should cost less for upkeep. * THAT IS HE THEORY on which the buyer pays the higher price. AND IT DOESN'T HOLD—any Reo representative can show you figures galore on that point—and Reo always leads. IF YOU DESIRE the dependability and low upkeep—and of course those are the very qualities you most need in a commercial vehicle—decide on this Reo and have, back of your own judgment, that of thousands of satisfied, delighted, enthusiastic owners.
