In two building' projects awarded recently the contractors who, secured the

are reputed, to be personal friends of
the architect or-owner and either secured the work on a percentage basis

If there is any business where friendship is apt to cost.real money it is in
contracting where work, is awarded upon the strength- of- friendship alone.
