Plans and specifications for the  buildings, which will include a big  warehouse and a smelter, are now  being prepared. The plant will have  ample room for yards as well as being advantageously situated as regards trackage and facilities for water transportation.  Col. T. H. Tracy, 744 Bute St., is  the architect.  which meets tomorrow, after which it  is anticipated the government will  undertake repairs to the Marine  Drive bridge at once.  The question of permanent work  amounting to about $20,000 cannot,  the delegation was informed, be definitely decided on until the estimates  are taken up.  In the meantime the engineering  departments of both municipalities  will commence getting out large timbers from the bush with which to  effect a temporary crossing over the  broken portion of the bridge, the cost  of which repairs is estimated at  $1,200.
