' The financial interests , which in the last analysis, are usually called upon to lumish some .of the sinews of war for anany of the larger building enterprises, are now taking a hand in the game. Urgent needs have been cared for and the demand is less feverish. On the other hand, buyers are not able to cover further on their heeds for the year, producers being still too far back on deliveries to warrant accepting added obligations. On new business, with the exception of the Steel Corporation interests, prices for nails have been averaging $4.50 per keg, or $1.25 above the March 21 base.
