City Engineer Fellowes, in reference   to  the  Mount  Pleasant  inter-  aepting  sewer,  construction  of which  'is  in   progress  to   form   the  entrance  to the proposed tunnel sewer, recommended   that   tenders   be   called   for  1200 feet of 30-in. reinforced concrete  pipe with the right to take a further  1200   feet   if   the   conditions   of   the  ground encountered warrant the city  doing so.    The prices quoted will be  per lineal foot.   As a Hugh estimate.  of the cost of pipe forj'the,first  1200  feet, Mr. Fellowes quoted the. sum of  $2,400.
