The appropriations provincial normal school, Vancouver. for roads, streets, bridges and wharves In each constituency are the same as last year. Chilliwack gets $33,300; 'Delta, $22,500; Dewdney, $68,500, and Richmond $40,000. Eighty thousand is revoted for Kingsway thiough the Municipality of Burnaby. Point Grey gets $10,000 for roads, and Nicomen Island the same amount for dyking; $13,500 is a subsidy for the Ladner-Woodward ferry. Other Appropriations. The vote of $400,000 on last year's estimates for the Second Narrows bridge fa left off. The Record was published by the Record Publishing Company, which had previously published the paper under a number of different titles, including the Daily Building Record and the British Columbia Building Record. The Record subsequently evolved into the Journal of Commerce. |
