Sealed Tenders superscribed "Tender for, Merritt School Heating and  Repairs," will be received by the  Honourable the Minister of Public  "Works up to 12 o"clock noon of Tuesday, the 22nd day of August! 1916, for  the erection and completion of a  steam-heating plant and general repairs to the four-room school-house  at Merritt, in the Yale Electoral District.  Plans, specifications, contract, and  forms of tender may be seen on and  after the 3rd day of August, 191G, to  the office of W. N. Roife, Government Agent, Nicola; J. Mahony, Government Agent, Court-house, Vancouver; and the Department of Public  Works,  Victoria.  Each proposal must be accompanied by an accepted bank cheque made  payable to the Honourable the Minister of Public Works, for a sum equal  to 20 per cent, of tender which sha.ll  be forfeited if the party tendering  decline to enter into contract when  called upon to do so, or if he fail to  complete the work contracted for.
