The engineer submitted a list of  general ward improvements which  were recommended, subject to the  necessary provision being made in the  estimates. These amounted to $16,-  185.05. General sewer work was also  discussed at the meeting.  Candless, J. E. Wilson, L. Goodacre, F.  Landsberg, G. F. Mathews, F. Norris  and A. R. Wolfenden and received  from them an approval of the draft  scheme.  FOR SALE  VANCOUVER—The  Canada Copper  company, owner of the British Columbia Copper company, is being financed  to build a concentrating mill of 3,000  tons daily capacity at the outset instead of an initial unit of 1,000 tons  daily,   as   was   contemplated,   says   a1  New   York  report.    The  cost   of  the  [plant, to be situated at Copper moun-  ! tain, near Princeton, B. C, and its contributory departments  will be  in the  neighborhood of $2,000,000, according  to the same source of information. The  improvements    include    an    adequate  hydro-electric  power   installation  and  a 12-mile railroad spur from Princeton,  B. C.   The expenditure in development  of   the   Copper   mountain   mine   was  $396,000 up to July 1.  One No. 120 Buffalo Forge Co.
