Much more is ready fof the ballast and I will b? completed shortly. The entire new line will be read by next spring-or summer, The old track has many unnecessary curves and much unneeded grade. In 0<>me c:<i>h������k it climbs up over twenty- five fet-t above the new roadway ai.d then back down to a like distai.ee below it. All these unnecessary, hills and curves have bee., eliminated in the new gfade and when it is finished much better time will be possible on this part of the road. Lon er freight trains can al&o be hauled. ANACONDA STORE To be Moved Opposite Vendome Hotel. The store building formerly belonging to the Anaconda Mercantile Co. and now used by Smith & McEw������������n as a store room has been put on rollers preparatory to moving to a site on Butte Ave, opposite the Wndome Hotel. A new front will be put on and th*> nterior furnished and painted. When this is finished the entire stock of Smith & McKwen will b������ moved and installed. The building is larger than the present store, and, wheu re- pared, will be an improvement* The nsw position will be better than the old, as since the building of the new road to Boundary FalU the traffic does not pass by their store, but goes on Denver Ave. When the moving is finished the present store will be used as a ware house.
