The first event was a boy's poi=y race, which was pulled off en time and wa* won by by J. Mayje. Next came the bicycle raie won by Will Anderson. After dinner came the,ba������eball with a score of 11 to 3 in fa v������r of Green wood. The 600 yd. local horse .race was won by C. Bube^r; The prospects r*s race, slated for 11 A.M., came oif next with Frank Buber 1st. and J. R.White 2nd. A free for all 600 yd. dash was won by J. Grinder >rithCnas/RttS*seii2tid. J. Grinder won the bucking contest. Later in the day a collection was taken up for a pri2e'for a second bucking con icfcst. This c������r.n:er.-ff srr-cothlv and was ord^riv one w.om by J. Grinder. An Indian named i_Jneas won two consecutive heats in the half mile free for all. Next came tbe gentleman's race, owners up, which was won by J. Richter with Frank Buber 2 d. Last of all the horse rac������s w;*s the consolation race "open only to losers of other races.*' However, it Wc\s entered by both winners ai.d losers and wa& won by a former winner, C. Buber. The children's sports came next.; The boy's race was won by Robert McMi;- lan with Cliff Russell a close second.
