This section of British Columbia has had an unusual amount of rain this season. This is bringing on a fine fruit crop. It is necessary to thin out the apples on the Midway fruit trees to prevent branches from breaking. O- ther fruit is equally plenteful. The hay crop has suffered from too much rain and ranchers are heavy losers from this source. "It is true the saviag of a few dollars may in itself be of little moment, but if the habit once becomes fixed, the accumulation will go on and be ultimately successful."
