sr h' 'rnr Jbu^'..- pppjjjj WEDNESDAY. AFFTL P. w* OFBOUNDARY Creek. At trestle 82 A, The C. P. R. have b<**n building a dam to protect the piles on the lower side of trestle 92 A. The dam is of solid cribbing, filled in with stone, and crosses the creek where it has been running in a channel cut re cently between the piles of the bridge. This will force the creek into its old channel, or it may have to cut anew one. This old channel is now filled with slag, deposited there because of the log jam just below. As the log jam has not been removed, it is likely when high waters ceme that a new channel will be cut. A.E. ASHCROFT. , Dominion, & Provincial i Lar:d Surveyor Wood Block. Greenwood, B.C.
