The holiday.season this ye**r began  with a mild Christmas eve, which softened the snow for sleighing and the ice  for skating. This did not prevent a  large number of people from going to  the Mother Lode to enjoy the splendid  Christmas tree program.and'the dancing in the big dining hall.  Oa the same evening the Cluireh of  England at Greenwood celebrated with  a Christmas tree.  The other churches had their celebrations earlier in the week.  At the Anaconda christmos tree a  very interesting program was given by  the children.  The children enjoyed a livley holiday spent in skating and coasting.
