From the new pre bin  the ore is fed automatically into the  crusher, which is placed in a pit at, the  bottom of the sample mill. It is then  elevated to tie top ������f .the eighth^ story  of thebutiding. It now runs^ intp^ the  samqler. The sample goes into the  smaU cru������her, tben through two sets  of rolls, whe^ilisiready for assay.  The bulk of the ore is then elevated a-  gain, if it is en tended for the "bins far  from the sampler. If, however,; the  ore is entended for the near bins, no  second elevation is needed. GRAND CELEBRATION AT  GREENWOOD B. (J, MAY 24, 1902.  r  THERE WILL BE'  Horse and Bicycle races,     Firemens   tournament,  Base-bill match. Usual athletic   sports,   Tug     of  war.    In ibe evening" there   will   be    a      performance of the Phoenix Minstrels at the Auditorium.  EVERYBODY   WILL     BE    THERE  HELP SWELL THE   CROWD    AND  CHEER THE CONTESTANTS   ON  VICTORY.  TO  TO  one,  And help to make  the day  a     grand  success.  A new ore body has been uncovered on the Mother Lode which will considerably increase the tonnage of ore available by quarrying. This ore body  lies near the northeast side of the claim, and at  present is known to be at least 50 feet wide. Surface assays show this ore to be of good grade.  An eight coach train has been gauranteed from  Grand Forks to help rvr^V the crowd at the Greenwood celebration on May 24. Fast horses are also  coming in.
