AT IVIIPIES AND IN wyir E. .t a cobs Account* nt Anaconda B .C. Chi*itmapl901 differed from former celebrations in being less in tha towns and more in the camps. The churches had gay trees on different evenings with concerts given by the children. The tree at Anaconda was probably one of the best, especially the children cl o *uses and the fine tabaleaux which were repeated later in greenwood. The day itself was very quietly spent in town. On Christmas eve the editor went to the Mother lode to take notes on the first public celebration of this kind. It was a great event in the history of the Mother Lode mine. Everybrie gave something towards the general fund and two great trees loaded with toys for every child were the final result. Page 2. ^..FOR JOB PRINTING GO TO* $*TTTE TTMFS.
