On Saturday evening a plumber took  ajnghiy decorated piece of   pipe   into  the celler and they were  screwed  onto  a piece about 8 feet long in   this  order  to themnin rvne: an elbow, a piece   of  pipe six feet Jong, another elbow, eight  inches of pipp, a vaIve, a nipple- a  union, another nipple, an elbow, still an-  o her nipple, a lee, and two feet lurhtr  on a coupler.  +t,The.PI.Umbersaid������asne took in all  these things on one piece of pipe;   " I  think this would satisfy the ambitions of any pipe and should fix anv  water system?" Then when all was completed  the valve leaked, and the plumber  tore off a piece out of hi* pnrir^f ������������������  pack it with., ~   P���������w  The plumber had to crawl under - a  piece of pipe one foot above the  ground and if he hit it it wouldfall on  his back, howeeer he did not hit it, and  so saved his life.
