Mineapolis, April 24.���Emmel Wallace, whose craving tor nails, glass
and wire could never lit- satisfied, died
ai the city hospital today of chronic
indigestion.
Wallace was well known throughout the- northwesl as the- "human
ich," and though he a'*' nails,
-miss and other junk daily, his stomach never wenl back on hlm until a
3 - nr ago, when he had his first attack of dyspepsia.

eating places and lhe nails had always been digested with equal ease
until thai time and the ostrich wondered al the trouble, finally laying I lie
Indigestion to fresh cucumbers. His
ease became worse. An operation was
performed and more than fifty nails
were taken from his stomach. From

done.

Tuesday and he died soon after. The
