PROBABLY ELECTION
BEFORE CHRISTMAS
It is the general opinion in
Parliamentary circles in Ottawa
that a general election will be
held before Christmas. The
efficient opposition put up to the
reciprocity measure has convinced the government that it
will be impossible to force the
agreement through without an
appeal to the people. Both Liberals aud Conservatives have
planned important political tours
with a view to educate the people as to what is involved in
reciprocity.

has been on a visit to the coast

officiated was witnessed at the
Methodist church on Tuesday

Nellie Bell, who was given away
by her father, looked charming in
her gown of white silk with overdress of Brussell's net, with pearl
trimming, and veil of embroidered
Brussell's net. she also carried a
shower bouquet of white carnations. The bride was attended
by Miss M. Hunter, who was becomingly gowned in Pink mull,
she was also attended by her
younger sister Ora Bell, who was
dressed in white silk over pink,
both carried shower bouquets of
white carnations. The Groom,
Mr. H. G. Painter was supported
by Mr. A. W. Phair. Mrs. Led-
erwood, organist, and Mr. J.
Dunlop, vionlist, played Lohengrin's Bridal march as the bride
