THE ADVANCE Vol. I No. 30 SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1911 House of Lords Remain Firm London. — The announcement by Chamberlain makes it certain that the House of Lords will not be scared into abolishing itself by mere threats and a big fight fight will be the result. "The News," a Liberal organ says: "The Lords, like Chamberlain, may dwell in a fog and feed on illusions. If the Lords fail in their duty the administration will create new Peers and the anti- Lords bill will become law. That is as certain as the rising of the sun."
